Haitian Hibiscus — Haiti
A deep ruby red hibiscus and ginger drink inspired by Haiti's vibrant Caribbean culture. Perfect for World Cup 2026.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
- 4 oz hot water
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- Ice cubes
- Lime wheel and fresh ginger slice, for garnish
Instructions
- Steep the hibiscus flowers, ginger slices, and cloves in 4 oz hot water for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer and let cool to room temperature.
- Add simple syrup and lime juice to the hibiscus concentrate. Stir well.
- Fill a tall glass with ice and pour the hibiscus mixture over.
- Garnish with a lime wheel and a thin slice of fresh ginger.
- Serve immediately — the deep ruby color is absolutely stunning.
