La Roja Champion's Cup — Spain
Celebrate Spain's 2026 World Cup victory with La Roja Champion's Cup — a saffron-infused, golden-red layered mocktail with edible gold shimmer.

Ingredients
- 4-5 saffron threads
- 2 oz warm water (for saffron blooming)
- 4 oz fresh orange juice
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and water)
- 3 oz pomegranate juice (POM Wonderful)
- 0.5 oz grenadine
- 4 oz dry sparkling water (Topo Chico)
- Pinch of edible gold luster dust
- Pomegranate arils for garnish
- Orange twist for garnish
- Ice
Instructions
- Bloom saffron threads in 2 oz warm water for 10 minutes until the water turns deep gold.
- In a shaker, combine saffron water, orange juice, lemon juice, and honey syrup. Shake with ice until cold.
- In each champagne flute or coupe glass, pour 1.5 oz pomegranate juice mixed with 0.25 oz grenadine.
- Add a few ice cubes or crushed ice to slow the mixing.
- Slowly pour the saffron-citrus mixture over the back of a bar spoon to create a layered effect.
- Top with sparkling water.
- Stir a tiny pinch of edible gold luster dust into the top layer for a shimmering trophy effect.
- Garnish with pomegranate arils and an orange twist. Serve immediately.
