Instructions
- Brew the toasted barley tea ahead of time and allow it to chill completely.
- Combine the satsuma mandarin juice, chilled barley tea, and cinnamon syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake gently for 10 seconds to chill the ingredients without over-diluting the tea.
- Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top the glass with tonic water and stir briefly to integrate the flavors.
- Express the oils from a grapefruit peel over the surface of the drink and drop it into the glass.
