Ingredients
- 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice (about 1 large grapefruit)
- 1.5 oz guava nectar
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave syrup
- 2 oz sparkling water
- 1 oz hibiscus simple syrup (for the float)
- Tajín and flaky sea salt blend, for rim
- Grapefruit wheel and fresh mint, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare your rim: mix equal parts Tajín and flaky sea salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip into the Tajín-salt mixture.
- Fill the glass with large ice cubes.
- In a shaker with ice, combine the fresh grapefruit juice, guava nectar, lime juice, and agave syrup. Shake for 10 seconds.
- Strain into your prepared glass over the ice.
- Add the sparkling water and stir gently once.
- For the hibiscus float: hold a bar spoon just above the surface of the drink and slowly pour the hibiscus syrup over the back of the spoon. It will float on top and create the sunset gradient.
- Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and fresh mint sprig. Do not stir — let the gradient be the show.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the sunset.
