By Larry Leo | Prep: | Servings: 1 | Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 3 oz cranberry juice (100% juice, not cocktail)
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz fresh ginger juice (or 1 tsp grated ginger)
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 3 oz sparkling water or dry ginger beer
- Ice cubes
- Lemon twist and 2 fresh blackberries, for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a champagne flute or tall wine glass with ice.
- In a small shaker, combine cranberry juice, lemon juice, ginger juice, and simple syrup. Stir to combine.
- Pour the cranberry mixture over the ice in the glass.
- Top slowly with sparkling water, pouring down the side of the glass to preserve the carbonation.
- Express a lemon peel over the drink by twisting it firmly over the glass to release the citrus oils, then drop it in.
- Thread two blackberries onto a cocktail pick and rest it across the rim.
- Serve immediately — the color is most dramatic when fresh.
