The Atlanta Tomahawk Chop
A warm Georgia pecan-maple apple cider with toasted pecan rim, inspired by the Atlanta Braves.

Ingredients
- 3 oz fresh apple cider (unfiltered)
- 1 oz pecan orgeat (or toasted pecan syrup)
- 0.5 oz pure maple syrup (Grade A dark)
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters (non-alcoholic)
- Crushed toasted pecans, for rim
- Ice
- Cinnamon stick and apple slice, for garnish
Instructions
- Toast pecans: crush 2 tbsp pecans and toast in a dry pan for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Rim a rocks glass: wet the rim with maple syrup and press into crushed toasted pecans.
- Fill the glass with ice (or serve warm — skip ice, heat the cider gently).
- Combine apple cider, pecan orgeat, maple syrup, lemon juice, and bitters. Stir well.
- Pour over ice (or into a warm mug).
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a thin apple slice.
