A gorgeous strawberry lemonade with blueberry ice cubes for the 4th of July. Fresh, easy, and beautiful. Ready in 15 minutes.

Freedom Lemonade mocktail with fresh strawberry lemonade and blueberry ice cubes in a mason jar glass

Ingredients

4 oz fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
2 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and warm water)
8 oz cold water
Fresh blueberries frozen in ice cubes (make ahead)
Lemon wheels and fresh strawberries, for garnish
Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

The night before: place 2-3 blueberries in each section of an ice cube tray, fill with water, and freeze overnight.
Blend the fresh strawberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
In a pitcher, combine the strawberry purée, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup. Stir well.
Add cold water and stir again. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey syrup if needed.
Fill two large glasses with the blueberry ice cubes.
Pour the strawberry lemonade over the ice.
Garnish with a lemon wheel, a fresh strawberry on the rim, and a mint sprig.
Serve immediately and watch the blueberries slowly tint the drink as the ice melts.
