Freedom Lemonade
A gorgeous strawberry lemonade with blueberry ice cubes for the 4th of July. Fresh, easy, and beautiful. Ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients
- 4 oz fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 2 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and warm water)
- 8 oz cold water
- Fresh blueberries frozen in ice cubes (make ahead)
- Lemon wheels and fresh strawberries, for garnish
- Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- The night before: place 2-3 blueberries in each section of an ice cube tray, fill with water, and freeze overnight.
- Blend the fresh strawberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
- In a pitcher, combine the strawberry purée, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup. Stir well.
- Add cold water and stir again. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey syrup if needed.
- Fill two large glasses with the blueberry ice cubes.
- Pour the strawberry lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel, a fresh strawberry on the rim, and a mint sprig.
- Serve immediately and watch the blueberries slowly tint the drink as the ice melts.
