The Anaheim Halo mocktail — vibrant strawberry-basil lemonade with golden honey rim

Ingredients

4 fresh strawberries (hulled and quartered)
4-5 fresh basil leaves
1 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and warm water)
1.5 oz fresh lemon juice
3 oz sparkling water
Gold sanding sugar, for rim
Ice
Strawberry slice and basil sprig, for garnish

Instructions

Rim a tall glass with gold sanding sugar: wet the rim with honey and dip into gold sugar.
In a shaker, gently muddle strawberries and basil leaves with honey syrup.
Add lemon juice and ice. Shake for 10 seconds.
Double-strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
Top with sparkling water and stir gently once.
Garnish with a strawberry slice on the rim and a basil sprig.
