Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup lavender simple syrup
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lavender sprigs, for garnish
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- For lavender syrup: 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 2 tbsp dried culinary lavender
Instructions
- Make the lavender syrup: combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add the dried lavender, remove from heat, and let steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer, discarding the lavender. Let cool completely.
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and lavender syrup.
- Add the cold water and stir well.
- Taste and adjust — add more syrup for sweeter, more water for lighter.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnished with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices.
- Store leftover syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
