Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh red raspberries
- 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water)
- 6 ounces premium tonic water, chilled
- 1 cup crushed ice
Instructions
- 1. Place the fresh raspberries and mint leaves in the bottom of a highball glass.
- 2. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the berries and mint until the fruit is crushed and fragrant.
- 3. Pour in the fresh lime juice and simple syrup over the muddled mixture.
- 4. Fill the glass to the brim with crushed ice, ensuring the berry mixture is distributed throughout.
- 5. Slowly top with the chilled tonic water to maintain the carbonation.
- 6. Stir gently from the bottom to integrate the flavors without losing the fizz.
