Berry Bomb Punch
A deep red-purple berry punch perfect for 4th of July parties. Serves 12. Make ahead and add sparkling water right before serving.

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 2 liters ginger ale, chilled
- 1 liter sparkling water, chilled
- Frozen berry ice ring (make 24 hours ahead)
- Fresh berries and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- The day before: make the berry ice ring. Fill a bundt pan halfway with water, add a cup of mixed berries and lemon slices, and freeze for 24 hours.
- Blend the blackberries and raspberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
- In a large punch bowl, combine the berry purée, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir well.
- Just before serving, add the ginger ale and sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.
- Unmold the frozen berry ice ring and float it in the punch bowl.
- Garnish the surface with fresh berries and lemon slices.
- Serve in punch cups or rocks glasses over additional ice.
