The Dodger Blue Dream mocktail — vivid royal blue butterfly pea flower drink with lemon wheel

Ingredients

5 oz butterfly pea flower tea (brewed strong with 2 tsp flowers, cooled)
0.5 oz white grape juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1 oz sparkling water
White sugar, for rim
Ice
Lemon wheel, for garnish (and the color-shift magic)

Instructions

Brew butterfly pea flower tea strong: steep 2 teaspoons of dried flowers in 6 oz of hot water for 5 minutes. Strain and cool completely.
Rim a tall glass with white sugar: wet the rim with lemon juice and dip into white sugar.
Fill the glass with ice.
Combine butterfly pea tea, white grape juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently.
Pour over ice and top with sparkling water.
Garnish with a lemon wheel. Squeeze the lemon in for the color shift from blue to purple.
