Blue Star Lemonade
A magical color-changing lemonade that turns from blue to purple-pink when you add lemon juice. The most fun 4th of July drink ever.

Ingredients
- 6 oz butterfly pea flower tea, cooled (steep 1 tbsp dried flowers in hot water 5 min)
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice (served separately or added at the table)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon wheel and blueberries, for garnish
- Star-shaped ice cubes (optional, for extra flair)
Instructions
- Brew the butterfly pea flower tea: steep 1 tablespoon of dried flowers in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes. Strain and let cool completely.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes (use star-shaped ice if you have them).
- Add simple syrup to the glass and stir.
- Pour the cooled butterfly pea flower tea over the ice — it will be a vivid, deep blue.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and blueberries.
- Serve the lemon juice on the side in a small pitcher or shot glass.
- At the table, pour the lemon juice in and watch the magic happen — the drink transforms from blue to purple to pink as you stir.
