Accra Sobolo — Ghana
A deep crimson hibiscus and ginger drink — Ghana's iconic sobolo for World Cup 2026.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
- 4 oz hot water
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 0.75 oz simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Pineapple wedge, for garnish
Instructions
- Steep hibiscus flowers, ginger slices, and cloves in 4 oz hot water for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain and let cool to room temperature.
- Add pineapple juice and simple syrup. Stir well.
- Pour over ice in a tall glass.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
- Serve cold — the deep crimson color is absolutely stunning.
