Mocha Orange Fizz
A refreshing coffeehouse mocktail blending chilled espresso, rich cocoa, and bright orange juice, topped with crisp sparkling water.

Ingredients
- 2 oz chilled espresso (or strong cold brew concentrate)
- 1 oz premium cocoa syrup
- 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tsp fresh orange zest, finely grated
- 4 oz chilled sparkling water
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Garnish: 1 fresh orange twist
- Garnish: 1/8 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- Combine the chilled espresso, cocoa syrup, and freshly squeezed orange juice in a cocktail shaker.
- Add the finely grated orange zest to the shaker to infuse the base with citrus oils.
- Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds to emulsify and chill the mixture.
- Fill a tall highball glass with fresh ice cubes.
- Strain the mocha-orange mixture into the prepared glass using a fine-mesh strainer to ensure a smooth texture.
- Slowly pour the chilled sparkling water over the mixture to maintain the carbonation.
- Stir gently with a long bar spoon to integrate the layers.
- Express the oils from an orange twist over the glass, then drop it in and finish with a light dusting of cocoa powder.
