Ingredients
- 4 oz double-strength rooibos tea, chilled
- 2 oz tart cherry juice
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 3 oz club soda
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 maraschino cherry
Instructions
- 1. Brew a double-strength rooibos tea by steeping two tea bags in 4 ounces of hot water for five minutes, then remove the bags and chill the liquid completely.
- 2. Fill a highball glass or large wine glass with fresh ice cubes until the glass is three-quarters full.
- 3. Pour the chilled rooibos tea, tart cherry juice, and fresh lime juice over the ice.
- 4. Use a long spoon to gently stir the ingredients for ten seconds to ensure the flavors are well-integrated and the mixture is cold.
- 5. Top the glass with club soda, pouring slowly to maintain the carbonation levels.
- 6. Give the drink one final, very brief stir to incorporate the soda without deflating the bubbles.
- 7. Place a maraschino cherry on top of the ice or drop it into the glass as a finishing touch.
